Piper Companies is seeking a QC Specialist, Analytical to join a leading biotechnology company developing next-generation allogeneic cell therapies for oncology. The role involves performing analytical testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, and documenting testing in accordance with cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing (cell-based function, flow cytometry, and PCR-based assays) under cGMP in collaboration with QC
Knowledge of aseptic techniques using a BSC
Track and trend analytical methods and assist in troubleshooting activities
Maintain, calibrate, and operate analytical equipment
Maintain laboratory material and reagent inventory
Document testing in accordance with cGMP requirements
Analyze testing data and provide routine reports to management
Assist in laboratory and product failure investigations
Author technical and scientific documents including protocols, reports, and SOPs
Support tech transfer of methods to manufacturing for internal and external QC testing

Required

B.S. or M.S. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences or related discipline
4+ years of experience working in a development or cGMP laboratory setting
Experience with cell-based, flow cytometry, and PCR assays
Knowledge of cell culture and aseptic technique

Preferred

Experience working in support of cell therapy products
