Responsibilities
Lead all operational accounting functions for a multi-location healthcare practice
Manage monthly close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
Oversee complex physician compensation calculations and reporting (advanced Excel required)
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and internal controls
Partner with revenue cycle, payroll, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial results
Support audits and maintain audit-ready financial records
Qualification
Required
5+ years of healthcare accounting experience in a multi-location environment
Strong operational accounting background
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-tab financial models
Prior audit experience required
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Detail-oriented, organized, and highly analytical
Preferred
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
