Responsibilities

Onboard vendor engagement process: RFP, QCS, Submittal Process, Fabrication & Scheduling Updates, & Meeting Minutes with Action Item Log

Implement project purchasing & delivery plans to meet job’s specific needs/requirements as it relates to purchasing, delivery, and receipt of material

Collaborate with a General Foreman to develop Bills of Material needed to install specified phases of work and interface with suppliers on a weekly basis to discuss upcoming phases of work, backorders, returns and deliveries

Execute site purchasing programs: onsite consignments, hold for release packages, Go-carts, and kitting

Track, expedite, and report on all material coming to site, issue accurate purchase orders and assist the Accounts Payable Team with any discrepancies

Generate reports and assist with cleaning up outstanding commitments in the system, develop and review performances score card with suppliers on a quarterly basis

Required

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying

Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent industry experience

Experience: Five (5) years of Purchasing experience required (Construction of Electrical Distribution preferred)
