Trinity Health, through MercyOne Clinton Medical Center, is dedicated to improving community health with a wide range of services. They are seeking a Unit Secretary/Radiology Aide to provide clerical support and patient assistance in the Radiology Department.

Responsibilities

Serve as receptionist for the Radiology unit
Schedule diagnostic imaging tests and maintain patient records
Transcribe physician orders and enter data into hospital systems
Answer phones and communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff
Transport patients, equipment, and supplies to and from the department
Assist patients with positioning, dressing/undressing, and basic comfort needs under technologist supervision
Ensure patient safety during transfers and procedures

Qualification

Basic Life Support (BLS)Medical terminologyClerical supportPatient assistanceCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire

Preferred

Medical terminology knowledge preferred
