Responsibilities

Perform FLIGHT DECK activities to create flow with OE Assembly plants and test
Lead projects for Durham, Evendale, Lafayette, and Peebles
Partner with the Engine Assembly & Test business leaders, the ATMRO FLIGHT DECK office and the Assembly & Test Site Leadership teams to implement FLIGHT DECK
Drive both a change in operating mindset and ensuring Lean principles are applied effectively in support of strategic and operational business plans
Deploy lean fundamentals among the ATO Operations teams to both improve operational processes and standard work
Partner with supporting functions across the value stream as needed to drive impact
Promote and enable GE’s continued transformation towards integrated product-line value stream management and flow
Serve as an advocate, subject matter expert, and accountability partner with the ATO team to drive the understanding and application of FLIGHT DECK
Lead and execute impactful lean transformations within the ATO sites to achieve operating goals using KPI based performance management
Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization and supporting functions to help progress our lean culture and drive FLIGHT DECK activation
Be a champion of kaizen and facilitate kaizen events to drive improvements
Drive effective KPI’s, action plans, and problem solving to assure results are achieved and sustained
Oversee model cell implementations and work with the sites to scale through creation of robust transformation plans that assure breakthrough results
Partner with the ATMRO FLIGHT DECK operations team and ATMRO leaders to quickly deploy new, best-practice capability and process across ATMRO network

Required

Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects in a Lean environment

Preferred

Minimum of 5 years' experience with Lean Transformation, Principles & Tools, preferably in an operational and transactional environment preferred
Experience leading an operations organization as a supervisor, operations manager, or site leader
Significant and proven experience in, practicing and applying lean methods
Demonstrated bias for action with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
Ability to influence without direct authority
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives
Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively
Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborator
