Responsibilities
Lead structural analysis, design, and detailing for high-stakes commercial, federal, industrial, and institutional projects
Partner with business development leaders to craft winning proposals and serve as the face of the firm to key clients
Proactively mentor a dedicated group of professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Move nimbly to untangle technical challenges, finding efficiencies that others miss
Qualification
Required
Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Licensure: Active registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE)
Experience: 10 to 15 years of deep structural engineering experience, specifically with steel, concrete, and masonry
Technical Mastery: High proficiency in RISA, AutoCAD, Revit, RamSS, Etabs, and Enercalc
Leadership DNA: Proven experience in project management and a burning desire to lead interdisciplinary teams
Preferred
Strong experience in timber and light-gage steel design
Established relationships with local AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction)
Active involvement in local industry organizations and a robust professional network
