Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close for multiple entities and take ownership of one entity's full close within 6–12 months
Update, maintain, and improve monthly schedules, including Fixed Assets and Prepaid Insurance
Draft journal entries for review and approval, with ownership growing as competency increases
Contribute to 1099 reporting and other monthly/annual projects
Understand and manage manufacturing inventory, including standard costing and inventory tie-outs
Support consolidation readiness and improved close cycle consistency
Identify automation opportunities and workflow improvements
Qualification
Required
4-5+ years of experience in accounting, general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end processes
Manufacturing accounting experience, inventory and cost accounting
Strong understanding of AP/AR processes due to cross-functional involvement
Experience with multi-entity structures
Preferred
Comfort with maturing system environments and manual reporting flows
NetSuite experience is a plus
Ability to learn developing systems and manually driven processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to improve schedules and workflows
