Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger with accurate and timely entries
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and send customer invoices; track collections
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and expense accounts
Record payroll entries and coordinate with external payroll providers
Track software-related expenses, subscriptions, and vendor contracts
Assist with monthly close, including accruals and reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Support annual audit, tax filings, and coordination with external accountants
Maintain organized financial documentation and records
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting best practices
Qualification
Required
2–4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and basic GAAP principles
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently in an in-office environment
Professional discretion in handling confidential financial data
Preferred
Experience working at a software, SaaS, or technology company
Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition concepts (a plus)
Experience supporting the month-end close in a growth-stage company
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
