Responsibilities
Conduct daily field-based HSE inspections and hazard assessments
Administer and enforce the Permit-to-Work system
Develop, update, and maintain project-specific HSE procedures, including confined space entry, LOTO (machine-specific), chemical/SDS registers, ladder inventories, and SPCC requirements
Lead contractor HSE orientations and monitor contractor compliance
Provide real-time HSE support to field operators and intervene when unsafe conditions are identified
Support incident investigations, audits, safety meetings, and training initiatives
Provide HSE coverage in the absence of the HSE Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
4–6 years of HSE experience in industrial or construction environments
Strong experience with confined space, LOTO, work at height, and life-critical activities
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management
Excellent communication and field engagement skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, outdoor work environment
Preferred
Power plant or energy facility experience
CSP, CIH, or similar safety certifications
