Responsibilities
Provide efficiencies in managing patients and scheduling of appointments
Develop strong organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures for clinic under the direction of the Practice Manager per hospital standards and procedures
Provide training to new Associates and fellow staff members
Create standard operating procedures for the workflow at the front desk
Knowledge of medical practice principles, practices and procedures
Assist with daily staffing of front desk Associates to ensure continuity of operations
Assist with patient referral workflow, and ensure each practice is following a standard protocol
Will float to other areas in the clinic when needed and staffing is critical. Will float and travel to other CHRISTUS Health ministries when training or staffing is needed
Be a liaison with billing and coding to ensure workflows can be supported/implemented
Other job related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least two to five years' of applicable experience in the medical field
Knowledge of medical practice principles, practices and procedures
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Previous experience in a leadership role in a clinic setting strongly preferred
