They are seeking an IT Intern to support daily technical operations, including help desk requests, hardware and software troubleshooting, and workstation setup, while providing hands-on experience with the IT team.

Responsibilities
Providing first-level technical assistance for employees, including troubleshooting printers, computers, and mobile devices
Logging, monitoring, and resolving help desk tickets to ensure issues stay within service level agreements (SLA)
Performing routine maintenance, installing software updates, and managing backups
Train system users on network, hardware, and software technology as required
Setting up and configuring new computers, peripherals, and mobile devices for employees
Helping maintain local (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), monitoring system performance, and assisting with network upgrades
Conducting asset audits, tracking hardware and software inventory, and labeling equipment
Monitoring security alerts and responding as required
Creating and updating user guides, system configurations, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Updating Excel documents, preparing PowerPoint presentations for project status reports, and managing department files
Attending team meetings to discuss weekly objectives and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
Experience with troubleshooting hardware or software issues through school projects, personal work, or previous internships is a plus
