The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) is seeking to hire up to two highly motivated individuals for tenure-track Assistant Professorships in the Division of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching in the PhD graduate program and the PharmD training program while maintaining a nationally recognized research program focused on health problems affecting Missourians.

Responsibilities
Initiating and maintaining a nationally recognized research program
Teaching in both the PhD graduate program and in the basic science curriculum for the PharmD training program
Mentoring students in the PhD program
Assisting in teaching the certificate program
Qualification
Required
PhD, MD/DO, and/or PharmD with teaching experience in a relevant field
2+ years of postdoctoral training or equivalent experience
Primary research publications in high-impact scientific journals
Ability to maintain an extramurally funded research program
Preferred
Experience and/or training in teaching and mentorship in higher education
