Network Administrator
Muskogee Public Schools provides education for students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, fostering academic growth and personal development. The Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security, as well as providing technical support for staff and students.
Responsibilities
Overseeing and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure
Ensuring optimal performance and security
Installing, configuring, and managing network systems
Identifying and resolving technical issues
Implementing security measures
Providing technical support for staff and students
Collaborating with the IT team to support overall system administration and technical needs within the school district
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or higher in computer science and/or electronics
3 years of experience working in technology positions
Possess A+ Certification or equivalent
Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
Experience in System Administration, including installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and software
Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree
Prior Network Administrator experience
Possess Network+, CCENT, or CCNA certification or equivalent
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar, are a plus
Previous experience in an educational or similar organizational setting is advantageous
