Responsibilities
Support the daily operations of our center's computers and telecommunication networks
Perform troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and installation of software and hardware on desktop, laptop, networking and telecommunications systems including data, video and voice
Provide first and second level technical support for the entire user community of the Devereux Foundation
Provide school-wide educational technology leadership through the development, coordination and delivery of resources that support student academic achievement and supports implementation of instructional initiatives through collaboration with district-level leadership
Ensure that current information systems needs are met
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 60 credits in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Business Administration, Education or related field
Two years in Information Systems preferred with a minimum of one year of networking
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and problem solving skills
Requires an ability to be adaptable, flexible, and change activities quickly according to business needs
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are required
Valid Driver's License required; Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results
On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required
Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily
