Sully-Miller Contracting Co. is a premier construction contractor in Southern California, and they are seeking an intern for the Equipment department. The intern will provide support through learning business practices and assisting with various responsibilities related to equipment maintenance and documentation.

Railroad Manufacture

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance: Assist with preventative maintenance workflows, scheduling and basic inspection
Equipment Tracking & Documentation: Review and maintain accurate digital and physical logs for shop repairs, field service calls, and any maintenance
Provide clerical and administrative support for the department
Work on special projects as assigned
Other duties as assigned

Required

Must be actively working towards a college degree
Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively and be flexible

Must have the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong tendency to take initiative
Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require
Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch should the need arise
Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday
Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction
