Responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of unreleased software by planning, designing, and executing tests to identify issues in a timely manner, escalating issues to management, and ensuring the software quality meets Apple’s quality
Reviewing requirements
Developing test plans and cases
Completing various types of testing (functional, regression, performance
Documenting and tracking issues, collaborating with development teams, and monitoring quality metrics throughout the product development lifecycle
Qualification
Required
BS in Computer Science or equivalent recent on-the-job experience in Software QA
Preferred
Passionate about Quality Assurance, Watch Faces, and Complications
An enthusiasm for customer-focused design, and high-quality technology
Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams
Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance creating test plans for new products and features
At ease and adaptable in a dynamic and informal atmosphere
Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management, and other organizations within Apple
Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results
Excited about Watch Faces and WatchOS in general
