Prelude Security is focused on building the next generation of endpoint security for the AI era. They are seeking a Sales / Business Development Representative (SDR / BDR) who will be responsible for generating sales opportunities and building connections with prospects to drive growth.

Responsibilities

Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to spark interest
Research and connect with potential clients, turning initial contacts into qualified opportunities
Leverage referrals from team members, early customers, and your own network to uncover new opportunities
Share relevant insights, content, or research to initiate meaningful conversations with prospects
Take full ownership of your pipeline, prioritizing high-potential prospects and accounts
Track results, follow up strategically, and iterate your approach to maximize impact
Manage inbound leads efficiently, qualifying and routing opportunities to keep the sales engine moving
Demonstrate competitive drive, curiosity, and resilience in every interaction
Engage prospects in thoughtful conversations that build relationships and generate opportunities
Capture trends, objections, and gaps in the market, sharing insights with leadership to refine messaging and strategy
Contribute ideas for new ways to identify and engage prospects, helping scale Origin’s outreach efforts
Contribute to building playbooks, templates, and frameworks for the team

Qualification

Required

2 - 3 Years of Sales Experience: BDR, SDR, retail, B2B, or other competitive roles that demonstrate results
Competitive Drive & Grit: Ambitious, persistent, and motivated to achieve measurable outcomes
Self-Starter Mindset: Takes ownership of outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline without needing a playbook
Strong Communication: Builds rapport quickly, asks the right questions, and conveys value clearly
Creative & Resourceful: Finds new ways to generate leads and open doors
Collaborative with Leadership: Works closely with the CEO and early team, sharing insights and contributing to strategy
Hungry for Growth: Eager to develop skills, advance your career, and make an impact at Origin

Preferred

Experience in the cybersecurity industry
Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, or other sales engagement platforms
