Responsibilities

Performing internal sales tax audits to ensure that our projects are paying the correct amount of sales tax
Attention to application of state tax regulations, sourcing rules, tax base, tax rate, rate caps, exemptions, and other tax rules or sales tax savings opportunities
Perform these audits for projects throughout the United States
Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and client service skills

Required

3+ years' experience working with state tax codes with the ability to apply them to transactions
3+ years' experience reviewing invoices for use tax accruals
Proven ability to research and rectify complex sales tax issues
Bachelor's degree in accounting or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 3 years prior relevant experience
