Responsibilities

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconcile accounts, and perform variance and trend analysis

Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and creating reports and dashboards to provide data-driven insights

Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed assets, expense management, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance

Acquire data from the ERP system and other primary/secondary sources, clean and structure large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis

Apply statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques to interpret complex financial data sets and identify patterns, trends, and potential risks or opportunities (e.g., fraud detection, cost savings, profit optimization)

Work with management to prioritize business information needs and provide analytical support for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or another industry-related field required; or equivalent experience and education required

At least 3-5 years of industry-related experience including Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller positions

Thorough understanding of GAAP accounting practices, budgeting and cost accounting

Proficient with Accounting and Payroll software programs, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
