Piper Companies is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of modern enterprise applications. This role will support a high-impact initiative and guide engineering best practices across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and REST APIs
Architect cloud‑ready solutions leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Oversee CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins
Guide engineering teams through GitHub review processes and coding best practices
Support frontend efforts using Angular and React
Partner with product owners, architects, and senior stakeholders in an Agile delivery model
Mentor engineering teams and drive adoption of automation and quality standards

Required

8–10+ years of full‑stack engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, PostgreSQL/SQL
Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS
CI/CD experience with Jenkins/Jenkins Core
Source control expertise with GitHub
Strong experience with Angular and/or React
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
Prior Agile development experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Must be eligible to work in the United States
