Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of building maintenance and mechanical systems
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and codes
Manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize building operations
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance tasks
Respond to and resolve maintenance issues and emergencies in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in building maintenance or engineering, with a focus on multi-family residential properties
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach
Preferred
a degree in engineering or a related field
Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical)
