Responsibilities
Manage geotechnical projects from planning to execution, maintaining quality, schedule, and budget
Providing technical expertise in site characterization, foundation design, slope stability, ground improvement, and related analyses
Developing and reviewing geotechnical reports, proposals, calculations, and design recommendations
Building and maintaining relationships with clients, teaming partners, and internal project teams
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and field staff
Supporting business development efforts and helping shape the strategic direction of our geotechnical practice
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining, or a related engineering field
4+ years of related geotechnical engineering experience, which preferably includes some extent of project management responsibilities
You have a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A positive attitude that thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment
