They are seeking a Supported Housing Intern to assist the Supported Housing team in providing case management and supportive services to clients with serious mental illness and disabilities, focusing on achieving stability and independence.

Responsibilities
Observe and assist the Supported Housing team
Assist in writing case notes and completing rental stipend forms
Learn to address clients’ immediate housing needs, such as medical transportation, maintenance, medical appointment follow up, etc
Participate in supervised case management tasks
Attend team meetings when applicable
Assist in creating program materials
Additional assignments may be determined at a future date
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate student in a Human Services related program
Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail
Sufficient skills to communicate effectively with both clients and staff
Preferred
Previous experience in human services field is preferred
