Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance team in maintaining the physical integrity of a multimillion dollar, multifamily apartment home community
Diagnose and fix issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas, appliance, structural, lighting, and security systems
Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur
Serve as the community’s point person for creating a worry-free living environment
Lead a team of technicians as they perform routine preventive maintenance and make timely, high-quality repairs
Share wisdom and insights with the team, prioritize tasks, ensure protocol is followed, and motivate the team
Oversee and inspect the team’s work, and perform tasks yourself when necessary
Keep track of maintenance details, including resident service requests and preventive maintenance records
Manage service vendors, maintenance budget, and supplies inventory
