Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth by promoting and selling restoration services, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with key clients.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan with defined revenue goals and target accounts
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across key and emerging vertical markets
Conduct outbound cold calling, schedule sales presentations, and host client meetings to generate leads and close new accounts
Actively participate in industry networking events, trade shows, and social engagements to promote brand visibility
Maintain expert knowledge of ServiceMaster's restoration and mitigation, as well as staying up to date with industry trends and market competition
Accurately log all client/prospect communications and follow-up activity using a CRM or structured recall system
Prepare and submit timely quotes and proposals and maintain a closing rate of at least 25% for new recurring business
Report market intelligence and performance metrics to upper management and contribute to strategic business planning

Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the service or restoration industry
Valid Driver's License
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM tools
Self-motivated and results-driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Prior experience in the cleaning, janitorial, or disaster restoration industry
Familiarity with territory sales planning and lead generation strategies
Active membership or participation in local networking/business associations
