The Calibration Coordinator is responsible for all calibration activities within the Quality department, including planning, scheduling, and record keeping of calibration processes.

Responsibilities

Calibration planning, gage ordering, review of calibration certificates

Coordinate calibration schedules with external calibration vendors

Record keeping which includes software system update with status

May perform calibrations if needed

Engrave and label gages

Discuss calibration principles and procedures with vendors

Assist with incoming inspection of parts and perform measurements

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of two years administrative experience

Familiar with performing measurements

Ability to understand and follow directions

Good language skills both written and oral

Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment

Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
