Responsibilities

Update existing documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and changes to the platform

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure accuracy and completeness in technical documentation

Work closely with the other members of the writing team to ensure consistency in detail, style, and presentation

Write high quality technical content that effectively communicates complex information clearly, concisely, and without jargon

Required

BA degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, a related writing-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience

At least 10 years of experience writing technical content

Excellent English writing skills

Experience documenting public cloud products, Oracle, and Kubernetes

Skill using Oxygen XML Author or a similar product to create documentation in DITA

Ability to manage documentation using Git and GitHub

Preferred

Role is open to remote candidates; however, Ideal candidates would be local to Palo Alto and able to report onsite in a hybrid capacity for 2-3 days per week

Experience working with CLI and Linux-like OS is a plus
