Responsibilities
Execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with Brixmor’s business and IT goals
Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and operational technologies. Serve as an advisor to senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, trends, and mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence and improvements to Cyber frameworks such as NIST and internal policies
Oversee the team in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning
Manage a high-performing cybersecurity team; foster a culture of security awareness across the organization
Lead the team in evaluating and managing security tools, services, and third-party risk
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity leadership, preferably in real estate, retail, or asset-heavy industries
Proven track record in developing enterprise-wide security programs and managing a high performing team
Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and regulatory compliance
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) required
