Responsibilities
Design and own end-to-end customer solutions, shepherding them through the implementation lifecycle while combining business acumen with technical skills to architect solutions for complex problems
Drive technical solution discussions with customer teams, diving deeply into technical details including design choices, best practices, and use cases
Create technical content that is easily adopted and reusable by others, educating and sharing best practices through sample code, blog posts, presentations, and workshops
Build consensus across customer teams by clearly articulating concepts and strategies, harmonizing discordant views and leading resolution of contentious issues
Identify opportunities to accelerate solution adoption by componentizing solutions and leveraging existing reusable assets that can benefit the broader customer community
Your day begins with internal stakeholder meetings to align on customer priorities before joining customer calls to discuss technical architecture and solution options. You'll spend time experimenting with new services to solve specific customer challenges, then document your findings. Afternoons might include solutioning sessions where you craft architectures that address complex media workloads, followed by building proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility. You'll close your day evangelizing best practices to both internal teams and customers
Qualification
Required
8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Preferred
Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
