Responsibilities

Under the direction of the chief business officer, this position is responsible for performing a variety of responsible duties related to the management of campus budget and fiscal operations

Required

Any combination equivalent to a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, public administration, economics or related field
Three years of responsible accounting and cash management experience, preferably in a public entity
Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff

Preferred

Experience working in a community college or school district business office environment
Experience with operating budgets of 100 million plus
Experience working with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring complex institutional budgets
Proficiency in ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Banner, or similar for budget and accounting functions
Advanced Excel skills for budget modeling, scenario analysis, and reporting
Proven ability to lead budget planning processes across multiple departments
Experience facilitating budget workshops and training for staff and administrators
Experience collaborating with faculty, staff, and/or community leaders in programs and initiatives that are specifically designed to assist historically underrepresented students achieve their educational goals
Prior experience in approaching work and interactions with colleagues and/or students in an equity minded manner
Ability to provide an inclusive and welcoming work/educational environment
