Analyst Programmer

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or an equivalent amount of training and applied experience
iOS programming experience with Swift
Android programming experience with Kotlin and Java
Computer programming experience (e.g., C, R, Matlab Python) including computer simulation of complex physical systems
Strong knowledge of computational diabetes
Ability to communicate complex ideas to collaborators and co-workers
Demonstrated ability and commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity by contributing to an equitable and accessible learning and working environment that emphasizes collaborative interactions with colleagues, students, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
Must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq
Preferred
Highly skilled in Swift
Highly skilled in Kotlin
Highly skilled in javascript
Highly skilled at using databases-driven application including MySQL and CoreData
Proficiency in software packages for RSTAN MCMC simulations
Familiarity with compartment modeling, glucoregulatory models, machine learning, signal processing, statistics and error analysis (uncertainty quantification)
5-10 years research experience with focus in an area related to the research pursuits of the Jacobs lab
