Mid LevelAbacus Service Corporation is seeking a qualified IT and Cybersecurity Services Consultant to deliver comprehensive IT support and cybersecurity services. The primary focus of the role is achieving CMMC Level 1 compliance, with responsibilities including endpoint security management, incident response, and managed IT operations.

Responsibilities
Conduct gap analysis, plan, document, and implement controls for CMMC Level 1 certification
Advise on CMMC Levels 2 and 3 requirements based on DoD mandates; if needed, plan and implement controls to meet deadlines
Deploy and manage a unified Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution across all organization-owned devices
Implement advanced security policies for mobile and personal device access
Enforce centralized configuration management, including least privilege principles and removal of local admin rights
Design, document, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity programs
Develop and execute incident response plans for cyber events (e.g., intrusions, malware, ransomware)
Lead breach mitigation, systems/data recovery, and review/optimize data backups for critical cloud services
Manage email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to counter phishing and spoofing
Assess and secure website hosting, potentially migrating to a more secure solution
Consult on migrating from .org to .gov domain for enhanced security
Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 IT service desk support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Administer SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, Microsoft 365)
Qualification
Required
Experience with CMMC compliance, DoD cybersecurity standards, EDR tools, and cloud administration
Recently worked on CMMC and NIST compliance
This role emphasizes proactive security scaling and rapid compliance achievement
Preferred
Experience in Federal or govt. is strongly preferred
