Lee Enterprises is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, proactive and tech-savvy student journalist for a paid summer internship. The intern will contribute coverage about the growing, diverse communities around Northwest Indiana and will work alongside professional journalists to produce compelling content for digital and print platforms.

Required

Creative, detail-oriented, proactive and tech-savvy student journalist
Inquisitive self-starters capable of producing compelling content for digital and print platforms
Ability to find and pitch great stories about diverse communities
Multitaskers who can juggle multiple assignments and embrace multimedia storytelling
Enrolled in college or be a recent college graduate
Completed at least one previous internship in a newsroom or comparable work for a college news outlet
Familiarity with AP Style
Own transportation to assignments
Available to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends
Include a cover letter, resume and five to seven examples of published journalism work with online application, including at least one multimedia example
