Responsibilities

Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of accounting entries, reports, and reconciliations, many of which utilize complex spreadsheets

Managing prepaid expenses, accrued expenses and fixed assets/depreciation processing

Working with cash payments to third parties

Performing and communicating financial statement variance analysis during the monthly financial statement close process in a time-sensitive manner

Estimating the impact on financial statements of regulatory amendments, business model alterations, software conversions, etc

Preparing & remitting various state and local tax payments and returns as required

Assisting with research on reconciliation discrepancies

Resolving errors and issues to resolution

Performing these and other activities within the control environment of Sunflower Bank
