They are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to support cell and molecular biology research initiatives, focusing on mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques to contribute to therapeutic development programs.

Responsibilities

Maintain and expand mammalian cell lines (suspension and adherent) under aseptic conditions
Execute transfection procedures across various cell types
Conduct routine molecular biology activities, including plasmid preparation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, ligation, and bacterial transformation
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records
Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety protocols and assist in maintaining laboratory equipment

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
1-2 years of hands-on laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture (suspension and/or adherent systems)
Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile cell culture practices
Experience in molecular biology techniques, including plasmid preparation, PCR, gel electrophoresis
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred

Experience with transfection methods on the suspension cell culture systems
Familiarity with virus production systems
