Responsibilities
Prepare and issue purchase orders and purchase requisitions ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures and policies
Train Requisitioners in purchase requisition creation and can assist Requisitioners and suppliers in invoice management
Source indirect services and goods and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery capabilities, and reliability
Resolves potential supplier problems
Investigating and resolving issues pertaining to supplier performance, purchase order set up, invoicing, supplier master data updates
Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
May participate in supplier audits and business reviews
Request and collect quality documents from suppliers
Creating supplier master data change requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office(Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong written and oral communication
Preferred
Minimum of three years procurement experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
Knowledge of principles and theories of procurement and supply chain
