Responsibilities
Design, train, and evaluate computer vision models for large-scale video security systems
Build and optimize object detection models (e.g. YOLO ) for real-world retail environments
Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle using PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
Establish early MLOps practices (MLflow, Weights & Biases, etc.)
Translate model performance and limitations into clear insights for senior leadership , helping define what’s technically possible now vs later
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience as an applied scientist or ML engineer with deep computer vision expertise
Proven track record building and training production-grade CV models
Strong understanding of modern CV architectures and object detection
Ability to operate independently in a founding / zero-to-one environment
Comfortable influencing product and strategy through technical expertise
