Controls Technician III
Pueblo is seeking a Controls Technician III who is an experienced technician capable of overseeing complex jobs and performing diagnostics, repair, and programming in the field. This role involves working in Building Automation and Energy Management Controls, ensuring projects are completed professionally and on time, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Oversee the more complicated jobs involving subcontractors as well as function as the foreman for self-performed work
Perform job duties in timely manner and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Support others in the controls and mechanical service division to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Conducts project reviews with owners on an ongoing and closeout basis
Project closeout to include preparing documents and obtaining letters of satisfaction from our customer
Monthly evaluation of job costs and costs to complete projections
Produces effective & professional documentation of project activities
Participates in weekly production meetings
Promptly address customers’ needs and immediately report all issues that are of an urgent nature to Controls Engineer and/or Director - Controls
Respond to customers by identifying needs, providing solutions to meet project objectives
Coordinate activities of subcontractors to maintain project schedules
Provide internal project updates to other departments/management to ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and within customer expectations
Provide site superintendent support as directed
Assist with processing of all plans, submittals and O&M Manuals
Provide Director of Controls and Project Manager weekly e-mail updates regarding project status
Ensure established company project delivery policies/procedures are enforced at all times; develop new and enhanced procedures when required
Ensure all assigned work is conducted in a safe and effective manner
Effectively and tactfully resolve project problems in a timely manner via frequent and clear communications with owners, subcontractors, design professionals, vendors, and other individuals involved with the project
Qualification
Required
Certified in controls programming of BACnet Advance Application Controllers
Certified and considered proficient in programming and Niagara AX or N4
In depth knowledge of HVAC systems
Knowledge of controls programming, start-up and commissioning
Ability to perform diagnostics, repair and programming in the field
Capability to oversee complicated jobs involving subcontractors
Function as the foreman for self-performed work
Ability to conduct project reviews with owners on an ongoing and closeout basis
Ability to prepare documents and obtain letters of satisfaction from customers
Ability to evaluate job costs and costs to complete projections
