Account Executive - Veterinary
VetRec is a fast-growing company in the veterinary sector, seeking an Account Executive to advance its growth. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, running demos, closing new business, and serving as a primary face of the company to prospective clients.

Responsibilities
Customer calls. Doing demos, closing deals, working with existing customers to look for growth opportunities. This person would pass with flying colors a “Sell me this pen” question
Work closely with the sales and implementation team. Both inbound and outbounds are primary sources of lead generation in VetRec. Being able to prioritize and land demos with each is a must
Proficient in VetRec and able to clearly explain what the product is about and get our potential customers onboarded quickly
Believes in the long term value of a customer. Not only the transaction of closing a customer, but supporting, being point of contact, helping with basic questions, and triaging to Support and/or Engineering when needed
Maintains order in our CRM. Ensuring key details, follow ups, health of the account, and more are well recorded in our CRM
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in sales
Excellent communicator and approachable person
2+ years experience in SMB and mid-market sales
A track record of success – consistently exceeding quota
Competitive and hungry mentality with an innate desire to be at the top of the leaderboard
Experience in working at a startup or small company
Proficient in VetRec and able to clearly explain what the product is about
Believes in the long term value of a customer
Maintains order in our CRM
Preferred
Experience in the Veterinary Medicine industry
