The University of Utah is actively recruiting an ABTS board-certified surgeon to serve as the Head of the Adult Cardiac Surgery Section. The successful candidate will perform the entire spectrum of adult cardiac surgery and support the academic mission of the Division while participating in the teaching and mentorship of trainees.

Required

ABTS board-certified surgeon
Eligible candidates will be at the Associate or Full Professor level
Tenure or clinical-track faculty within the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine
Expected to perform the entire spectrum of adult cardiac surgery
Support the academic mission of the Division
Serve as Attending Surgeons at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics
Serve at the Salt Lake Veteran's Administration Health Care System
Serve at the Huntsman Cancer Institute
Actively participate in the teaching and mentorship of integrated and traditional thoracic surgery trainees
