InternEnterprise Engineering, Inc. is offering a paid full-time Mechanical Engineering Internship for students to gain real-world experience. The role involves examining design projects, supporting drafting and design calculations, and collaborating with engineers on fuel systems design and repair.

Responsibilities
Examine design projects in various phases of completion
Improve problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
Prepare for and observe field efforts
Utilize and categorize field discovery notes, media, etc
Provide support on drafting, design calculations, code compliance review, and client deliverables
Work collaboratively with other engineers of varying disciplines and project managers on the design and repair of fuel systems
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program from an ABET accredited curriculum
Desire to learn about the design and inspection of fueling systems, including piping, tanks, and pumps
Desire to learn about the preparation and function of a professional engineering design package, including preparation of design drawings, project specifications, and design analysis documents
Basic understanding of fluid flow through piping, including the application of Bernoulli's principle to calculate flow rates and size pumps
Ability to methodically perform and document engineering calculations
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Working towards developing strong technical writing abilities
Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check
Willing and able to independently travel to project locations, domestic and internationally
Proficient at using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
