Credentialing Compliance Coordinator

The Credentialing Compliance Coordinator supports the Vice President of Compliance in maintaining personnel files and required documents, ensuring compliance with credentialing standards and providing guidance to business units.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement process improvements; maintain formal documentation for compliance workflows
Collaborate with business process owners organization-wide to address and remediate expired documents
Track, monitor, and report on outstanding items to ensure all remediation deadlines are met; facilitate reliable information sharing with stakeholders
Coordinate and process re-credentialing and expiring background checks across multiple business units
Maintain accurate and current provider files and ensure integrity of data within internal databases
Monitor expiring credentials—including licenses, certifications, and background checks—and ensure timely renewals
Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with all applicable state and federal credentialing standards
Contribute to the review and update of policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and compliance
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

2 to 4 years of experience in credentialing compliance required
High School Diploma required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, with strong initiative in communication and collaboration to meet deadlines

Preferred

Experience in education and/or behavioral health sectors preferred
Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
