Responsibilities
Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and cost
Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S implementation
Apply DMAIC methodology to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and sustain improvements
Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and track improvement progress
Partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement standardized work processes
Lead cost reduction projects without compromising product quality or safety
Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning
Utilize statistical analysis tools to drive data based decision making
Provide training and coaching to team members on Lean and continuous improvement principles
Support new product introductions and process validation activities
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field required
3+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, Kanban, VSM) and Six Sigma/DMAIC methodology
Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping
Experience developing and managing KPIs in a production setting
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in English required
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred
Experience with ERP/MES systems preferred
Spanish a plus
