They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the main finance partner for the MS NOW Newsgathering organization, responsible for financial planning, reporting, and collaboration with leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Work with editorial leadership to support a new team of 100+ journalist who will lead world-wide news coverage for MS NOW across all platforms

Plan and communicate the financial implications of various strategic decisions, staffing changes, and cost initiatives

Provide reporting and other operational support for various third-party partner arrangements

Own all financial processes - annual budgets, long-range strategic plans, and in-year financial estimates for both P&L and cash forecasts

Create KPI’s, build and manage operational reporting, and actively identify risks and opportunities

Develop strong relationships with show leaders and HR; manage headcount reporting. Support ad hoc projects and requests

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

2+ years of experience in progressive Operational Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis roles

Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize data and complex information, and present succinctly to executives and stakeholders at all levels
