Responsibilities
Strong background in SQL Server and experience with SSIS for data integration and ETL processes
Proficiency in Database Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, cursors, derived tables, common table expressions (CTEs), ranking functions, triggers and complex SQL queries for small to large sets of data to be used during the ETL process
Debug and tune SSIS or other ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data
Analyze and develop strategies and approaches to import and transfer data between source, staging, and Data Warehouse destinations
Hands on experience at Transforming and validating data using SSIS components like conditional split, Lookup, Merge Join, sort and derived column with a broad range of experience transforming data from CSV files, XML files, and common relational database sources and destinations
Wrote VB.Net code for various SSIS packages
Proficient in the use of majority of the SSIS transformations, containers, tasks, importing data from various source like Excel, SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, Flat File to SQL Server, package configuration, Change Data capture (CDC), logging, checkpoints, master and child package, package deployment, variables and expressions, error handling and troubleshooting
Develops, tests and troubleshoots ETL processes
Experienced in creating SSIS packages for historical and delta loads from various sources
Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments using SSISDB catalogue features like project and package deployment
Extensive knowledge in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries to improve the database & ETL performance
Participated in requirement gathering and understanding business/functional requirement
Participated in the full life-cycle development process from defining and design to production delivery

4+ years of relevant experience
