Data Analyst
Albert Einstein College of Medicine is focused on advancing research in chronic kidney disease and kidney transplantation. The Data Analyst will manage, process, and analyze clinical and imaging data to support these research initiatives, including database maintenance and data extraction for genetic studies.

Responsibilities
Maintain and update sample and clinical databases for research cohorts
Extract, format, and validate clinical data for downstream genetic and genomic association analyses
Collect and organize pathological images from kidney biopsies (~2,000 annually) across multiple OPO centers
Perform annotation and quality control of images under supervision of renal pathologists to support AI/deep learning model development
Assist in deploying a web-based LIMS to centralize research data, track project progress, and manage data transfers/backups for collaborative research
Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to institutional and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field
Proficiency in SQL, Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
Experience with image processing tools and annotation platforms
Familiarity with LIMS and research data management systems
Knowledge of genetic/genomic data workflows is a plus
2+ years in data analysis or research data management, preferably in a clinical or academic setting
