2+ years expIMCS Group is seeking a Field Process Engineer to join a hands-on engineering team supporting water and wastewater treatment research and field testing. This role focuses on pilot testing, laboratory work, and on-site process evaluation to support the development and optimization of treatment technologies.

Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pilot testing equipment (pumps, mixers, valves, sensors, control systems, and chemical delivery systems)
Design, build, and operate bench-scale and pilot-scale test setups
Conduct water and wastewater testing in laboratory and field environments
Support system start-ups, commissioning, and performance testing
Manage and execute assigned testing projects
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and operating manuals
Train and support clients or internal teams on pilot system operation
Communicate test results and findings to engineering and business teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical preferred; Mechanical or Electrical considered)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Willingness to work with mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Comfortable using hand and power tools and servicing equipment
Willingness to travel up to 25%- NY, CA, and OH
Preferred
Laboratory experience with water analysis and standard testing methods
Up to two years of experience in water/wastewater treatment
Knowledge of biological wastewater treatment processes (activated sludge a plus)
