Nesco Resource is a company focused on finance and accounting solutions. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to provide financial and accounting analysis supporting both mill operations and corporate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly financial close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Support monthly balance sheet reconciliation processes
Complete assigned mill and corporate financial reporting requirements
Perform monthly cost and variance analysis
Provide support for monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and project support as needed
Support and review the accounts payable process
Assist with internal and external audit requirements

Required

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
Familiarity with month-end close processes and journal entries
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field with an accounting concentration
Minimum 2+ years of finance or accounting experience
Experience with financial analysis and reconciliation processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with JD Edwards and/or Hyperion
