Director, Inside Sales
Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. is seeking a Director of Inside Sales who will lead the development and execution of effective inside sales strategies to cultivate partnerships with CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and biotech organizations. This strategic role focuses on generating lead generation that turns into new revenue, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive inside sales strategy aligned with company objectives
Drive lead generation, qualification, and conversion through proactive outreach and relationship building
Collaborate with field-based sales teams to ensure alignment and client success
Monitor sales metrics, pipeline health, and performance; provide regular reporting to leadership
Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage leads, track progress, and optimize workflows
Identify market trends and opportunities to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes
Qualification
Required
Proven success in inside sales within the clinical research industry
Strong understanding of CROs, sponsors, and the drug development process
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to develop and execute strategic inside sales plans
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Minimum of 3+ years of inside sales experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) preferred
