Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Water Quality & Treatment Co-Op to assist in both field and office work related to water treatment and regulatory processes. The role involves sampling, testing, data collection, and collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance and improve processes.

Responsibilities

Sampling various water treatment and distribution sites for analytes such as volatile organic compounds, coliform bacteria, total organic content, and phosphate

Testing for various parameters such as chlorine residual and ph

Working with other departments to implement new technology or treatment options and creating reports based on findings

Assisting staff and managers with project implementation and those associated work tasks

Pick up and drop off material, samples, bottles, etc. as needed

Data collection and entry for monthly/quarterly compliance reports and organization of data collected at our remote well stations in order to ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection regulations

You may help update SOPs and may also spend some time in the company laboratory

Data analysis, data pulls, documentation organization from SCADA, LIMS, or WIMS software
